This is a design project centered around the innovation of glass flameworking techniques. We’ve developed a unique approach where glass is manipulated like knitted wool, allowing us to create objects with distinct tactile charm. These hand-crafted pieces retain the transparency and durability of borosilicate glass while boasting a fabric-like texture.
To showcase this novel technique, we designed a tea set where each component highlights the material’s capabilities and aesthetic potential.
1. Handmade by a little master: Guo Shilong, a young handmade artist with 6 years of technical experience, 4 hours of preparation
2. Award-winning design: Milan champion design couple personally designed the only titled work of studio ololoo in 2024
3. Thoughtful certificate signature: There is a craft postcard + design certificate + designer artist signature
4. Strict quality inspection of gradient process: Gradient color process with extremely high scrap rate, willow catkins are not dared to spray, and must be carefully checked one by one
5. Special effect light and shadow ripples: The tray body is not a thin layer of skin but an organic shape that gradually decreases from the middle to both sides The refracted ripples can be seen through the sunlight
6. Gentle gift: The white exquisite outer packaging is very good to take pictures, and the hand-sewn OLOLOO brand straps
7. Safe packaging: The sturdy black flocking lining protects the artwork and is safely transported around the world
